For the benefit of Google I must put in a keyword-laden description of my website.

This is the personal blog of Thomas Brunkard  in which you will find music, observations, clippings and items related to my hobbies, interests and beliefs.

I’m a marketer with a background in PR and Digital Marketing.  I’m also a musician and I write and record music and the odd film that I post here on occasion.

I really like it when my music is put in a film or other multimedia context so please let me know if you want me to make you something or if you want to use one of my pieces.

Because of my odd surname and recent venture into parenting I have an interest in genealogy.  Brunkard is a less common variant of Brunker and a more common variant of Brouncker.  I have a long term quest to find out how and why our family ended up in Ireland and to establish if and how we are all related.

I am staunchly pro-science.  This doesn’t mean that I presume infallibility of scientists.  It means that I think the scientific method is the best path we have to knowledge.
